Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club

At more than 17,000 square feet of commercial space, Royal Palms is the largest indoor shuffleboard club in the country. Located in Gowanus, Brooklyn, the existing building required extensive repairs and alterations in order to make the owner’s vision of a shuffleboard club become a reality. An elevated platform was built overlooking the courts to house spectator areas, dining areas, two bars, offices, and bathrooms. The loading dock and garage of the existing commercial space was redeveloped into a parking area for food trucks, which serve the shuffleboard club clientele nightly. Wildly successful, Royal Palms has become one of Brooklyn’s most popular venues.
