Sunset Beach Restaurant & Bar

This restaurant is part of a casual but refined seaside getaway on Shelter Island, off the North Fork of Long Island, by André Balazs Properties. We were commissioned to revise and update the existing outdoor restaurant with a new bar and staff workstations. The back bar was re-envisioned with a new bottle showcase, maintaining a beach-feel with nautical radiuses dividing the cabinets, and soft lighting. Lightweight, fully removable aluminum hatches lock into place to secure the liquor when not in service. The front bar was also rebuilt and extended around the beach side of the deck, with a vibrant tile counter and a bamboo apron.
